Fallout is like the one "killer app" that I usually manage to completely ignore for some reason even with all of the marketing behind it. I'm sure it's probably a great game though.
Tbh, I wasn’t super pumped about it. I didn’t find many trailers and thought the game might be pretty average at best. I was pleasantly surprised. The story isn’t top-notch, but it’s better than Skyrim or New Vegas, and the setting reminded me of Fallout 3, which is what I like. The factions are more interesting than in NV’s games, and the combat feels fresh thanks to balanced damage. Building up cores really helps—once you have enough power armor, you can tackle challenges without issues. Crafting quality is solid compared to NV’s. Mods are already a big plus. Performance isn’t perfect, but there are ways to fix it. The only downside is a bug that almost crashes the game, but a single console command fixes it for PC players. I’ve only had a few crashes after about 35 hours of playtime.
The only franchise I will ever fanboy over is Starwars. And even then I can say I hate the new BF. You just sound like one of those haters that purposely try to throw shit on a company to annoy people. See the rest of the comments here? These are civilized normal responses on why people hate/like the game. And I did play Skyrim at launch...and stopped playing it because I got bored. This is a FA thread. The one thing I hate is the perk system. I have to search thru each row for the one I might want and by them I forgot the others so I'm not sure what I want. The lvl lock is annoying but understandable. I was always ehh about the dialogue in Fallout out so still on not sure if I like or hate it
