We’ve got 150 threads that seem connected, but I’m focusing on what really matters. Many of Fallout 4’s critics ended up affected by the hype train. Personally, I’ve seen several movies, shows, and games get damaged by excessive marketing. For Fallout 4, I’ll skip all news and promotions after the E3 reveal. It was tough, but I made it through! Once it’s out, it has surpassed my expectations. Those who complained about graphics, bugs, or glitches probably got swept up in the excitement—if you haven’t played Fallout before or don’t enjoy that genre, you’re out of the loop. What do you think?

Could you clarify what you're referring to? Are you asking about a specific action by Ubisoft or something else?

When contrasted with FO3, my main concerns are: 1. People constantly position you as the leader while expecting you to follow their commands instead of leading yourself. 2. The narrative feels condensed, yet they stretch it by turning you into a mere helper.

Hey there, big fan of Bethesda! I appreciate you enjoying the game. But honestly, from both a personal and real-world perspective, it feels like a lot of disappointment. If you're into the game, that's great—just don't expect it to be polished right away. People have been criticizing it since the early trailers, and it was pretty clear it was lagging behind its time. Plus, it’s still buggy by today’s standards (though modders are working hard to fix it). I love Bethesda for its sandbox style, but these early releases were really rough until the community stepped in.

I had no expectations initially. I even thought about skipping the purchase since I wasn’t really interested. But now that I own it, I’m feeling both excited and a bit let down.

It's okay. The graphics are average, and the dialogue wheel is really bad. You go through a mission with the Bran Flakes guy, but it's still fun in a way. I didn't expect much, but the buzz around it was overwhelming.

However with FA we still encounter some issues here and there. With Ubisoft their problems are game-breaking and they seem to hide everything as if nothing is wrong. EA/Ubisoft have really hurt Assassins Creed due to this (at least I haven't heard much about Syndicate after release). Real complaints please see my reply to the previous person and my earlier note: "If you've never played FA before or simply don't enjoy this genre, you're out." I'm not a die-hard fan. I like FA but wasn't expecting a game that changes the industry. When FA3 launched, sandbox open worlds were uncommon, now every developer is doing it.

It's better to avoid pre-made choices. I'll need to search for information first if I'm worried about making a mistake.
