It's interesting you're noticing this. You've played several recent titles like Witcher 3, Project Cars, and Batman Arkham Knight, but none seem to work with your setup. It might be related to the Xbox One API or something specific to that platform. For those unfamiliar, let me clarify what I understand.

This might only work for games originally made for Xbox One. Even then, the developer could remove it during porting due to its unusual nature. Since I don’t own that controller, I can’t verify it myself.

It only really works in racing games, honestly. Most titles don’t use it much (based on the games I’ve tried on the XB1).

I haven't come across it yet... I'm going to download DR3 just to check, since any game doing that should be worth it. Brb in... 9 hours

No API exists for Windows yet. It could change once Windows 10 is released, since drivers are now integrated into the operating system. The creators of Dirt Rally mentioned they can't provide one because it isn’t available on the desktop interface.

I own an Xbox One controller. I played Brothers, a story about two brothers, and also tried NFS Hot Pursuit. Vibration functioned properly in both games. Running Windows 10 tech preview.
