It looks like you're questioning why $100 feels like a lot for this product. Many people find that price high, especially when better alternatives are available. You mentioned an Athlon 200ge that comes faster out of the box, which could justify the cost.

I'm searching for a processor with at least four cores. I won't purchase it, but the Athlon with a compatible motherboard and RAM will exceed $300.

The memory would cost more than 100 bucks, but I believe I got around 50 for mine. It has four threads, and AMD SMT doesn’t slow down per core like Intel’s HT does. That makes it a quicker chip. In fact, I gave mine to a friend in NY who needed it for a flash job on an x470 board. I also got a 1200 and a 220ge for about 50 bucks. Well, who am I to tell you how to spend your money? I just wanted to share my thoughts.
