After about a year, the game often runs smoothly until it suddenly stutters once, then experiences tiny frame drops (microstuttering) that happen predictably, like every second. It’s puzzling because changing settings in the options menu seems to temporarily resolve the issue, even after reverting them. I’m not using any background programs beyond Windows tasks, my drivers are current, and my system can handle the game at the settings I use. I’ve tried disabling fullscreen mode, switching to DX12, enabling high-performance CPU settings, or turning off HAGS, but nothing resolves it. I recall doing these adjustments two years ago on a weaker machine, and even tried older BIOS versions or GPU drivers without success.

Your display can handle both G-SYNC and VSync technologies.

It occurred during my latest session a few months back as well. It seemed to happen roughly between 30 minutes and an hour of play. I thought it might be a memory issue with the game, but there wasn’t a permanent solution. The temporary workaround—changing graphics settings—worked fast and was easy to apply.

It occurred continuously from the moment it began.
