I own an AMD R5 4600G which should run comparably to a 3600 or better, but it tends to stutter and lose frames frequently. The workload isn’t at full capacity. I performed a factory reset to clear out any software, yet the issue persists. Benchmarks show a CPU score of 79%, which falls short of the expected over 86%. Someone with advice would be really helpful. If you can resolve it, upgrading to a 5600 might be worth considering.

Sure, let me clarify. Could you detail the type of experience—such as stuttering, lag, tears, etc.—and mention the platforms you played on? Also, please share your system specifications.

Frame drops and stuttering occur, especially at high FPS. It often jumps above 144 FPS then falls below 80, 60, and even 30. Fortnite and Valorant are the worst. Performance metrics: 4600G, 1660Super, 16GB 3200MHz "yes XMP is enabled"

Well, I wouldn't say those games are CPU heavy, but it's possible the problem lies elsewhere. The GPU might be the culprit too. Have you checked for driver updates, especially for the GPU and chipset?

What type of SSD do you have? A significant drop might indicate a storage problem as well.

I'm surprised, honestly—I wasn't proud to admit I played Fortnite when it first came out. Back then, my setup was a PC with a 7200 RPM 3.5" HDD, a Pentium G4560, and 1050 Ti, and it worked perfectly without any issues.

I refreshed every driver and removed then reinstalled them. Games such as Ow2 and Apex perform better than Fortnite and Valorant, which shouldn't happen.
