Hello! My issue is both straightforward and tricky. When I start playing games for about five minutes, the audio changes, becomes distorted or static, and feels a bit delayed. I own a Gigabyte 15P laptop with the following specifications: Windows 10 Home 64-bit, Realtek BIOS, Intel i7-10870H processor, Nvidia 3070 GPU, 8 GB RAM, 32 GB NVMe SSD (CSmile, and a 1 TB NVMe SSD (DSmile.

I've tried several fixes—removing the Realtek audio device from Device Manager, updating drivers, rolling back audio settings, disabling all sound except my laptop speakers or headphones plugged in, adjusting audio enhancements, and even testing with Bluetooth speakers. However, nothing seems to resolve the problem consistently.

Interesting observations: the issue only appears after roughly five minutes of gameplay. It works fine with headphones and laptop speakers in Starcraft 2, but becomes problematic in games like DOOM 2016, Trackmania, and Mass Effect Andromeda. Mass Effect seems to be the worst, especially after about five minutes. In DOOM it takes longer, but once it starts, playback stops completely.

I also noticed that using my Bluetooth speaker keeps the sound normal, while plugging in headphones into the Audio Jack on my monitor causes distortion and poor quality. The Windows Sound settings show Nvidia High Definition Audio for the monitor, but my laptop uses Realtek Audio. I've attached a screenshot of my sound options and driver info if you need more details.

I'm still looking for a solution—maybe reinstalling Windows or doing a factory reset could help. Let me know if you need anything else!

Best,
Zemtex
