Hello, I’m facing some problems with my setup and would appreciate your advice. My monitor: ASUS Swift PG278QR (DisplayPort 1.2), GPU: GTX 1080 Ti, OS: tested on Windows 10 and Windows 11. Connection: DisplayPort. The problem: in certain games my screen suddenly turns black and shows “No Signal,” while others run perfectly. Lowering the refresh rate in those games sometimes helps, but not always. I’ve tried disabling Windows optimizations and G-Sync, reinstalling Windows, changing the cable, resetting to factory settings, turning off sleep functions, and even using CRU to block DP 1.2 features. If I switch to another monitor, everything works fine. It seems the issue is likely with the ASUS PG278QR itself. I’m wondering if others have had similar experiences with DP 1.2 monitors and GTX 10xx cards after firmware updates. Could this be a compatibility issue between DP 1.2 and DP 1.4, or is my monitor beginning to fail? Any suggestions on how to stabilize this would be very helpful. Thanks in advance!
