Some games begin to freeze in mini-game mode after a while.
Hello! My issue is that after playing for a while—say an hour or more—I start experiencing mini freezes. The FPS drops to around 50, which is okay for someone who isn't very skilled, but it gets worse the longer I play. It only happens in games like GTA 5, not in less demanding titles such as CSGO or Valorant. What should I do? Also, I’ve checked that my drivers are up to date and lowering graphics didn’t help. Temperatures are normal; I recently replaced the thermal paste on both the CPU and GPU, which are about a year old. The CPU runs at around 65°C under load and the GPU at about 70°C. Thank you.
Details about your motherboard, power supply unit age, and RAM frequency are provided. The BIOS version and operating system version are mentioned. Information on uninstalling GTX1050 drivers via DDU and reinstalling with updated drivers in an elevated command is included.
Hi, the prebuilt unit comes from a store, so I'm not entirely sure. The PSU is around 7 years old, has "huntkey" on it, which likely indicates the brand. I don't know its wattage. The product description is mostly in Chinese, making it hard to understand what it means. This is my motherboard. I'm using Windows 10 and have a RAM with a 1600MHz frequency. I don't know the BIOS version either, sorry. I haven't tried reinstalling drivers, from what you said, I have no idea what to do. Thanks.
I just discovered it, my prebuilt PC is named Lenovo IdeaCentre H535 if that's useful.
