Hi, sometimes my games switch away from each other all by themselves without any clear reason. It never happens because of a specific key press or typing because I am using a controller while the keyboard stays off too. After downloading a tool that shows what input is being used and which program wins at that moment, I found this happens every time my computer does an "idle process" no matter which game I'm playing. This only starts when my screens are in fullscreen mode but never works if the windows are open or split-screen. I tried turning high priority on for all games in the task manager and it didn't stop the switching at all. Can anyone help me? Do you know what this process is called and why am I getting switched away from my game like that? Thanks!
Hey, this happens to me all the time when I play Apex. It just randomly Alt-Tab away without any warning. Turns out, a little program started up and forced another one into the background, so the game had to move off-screen so they could do their thing instead. Only after digging deeper did I find that turning off certain overlays on specific engines actually helped fix things, even stopping crashes from that engine itself. Like if you turn off the Steam Overlay or the EA Overlay... So yeah, try disabling it just in case!
