I just double-checked again. In some titles it runs smoothly, in others it lags and causes problems (like in Warzone). But Rocket Lake will be out next month, so it shouldn't really matter. If AMD resolves their CPU issues and Ryzen performs better than Rocket Lake while being more affordable, I'd go for the latter instead.
Who would choose such a setup for CS:GO? It works on any system and old hardware runs it smoothly.
