Some fans are limited to just one color.
backstory: gamdias talos e3 setup involved three argb fans linked to a hub that supports MMO boards. it features an integrated RGB effect switch built into the case. Used signal RGB before reinstalling Windows, tried SignalRGB, then explored OpenRGB and Gigabyte RGB Fusion. Once those worked, I accidentally restarted the system and noticed the RGB stuck permanently in white. The case's RGB button doesn't function properly, and synchronization remains unreliable.
It depends on the RBG, lots of time its a wire connector causing issues for everything. Rbg lights usually rely on the voltage to set the color. Changes in voltage set what color you see. You may have a bad voltage controller as well but 99% its the wiring/connections or theres a bad apple in the group causing issues for the rest.
It's likely RGB Fusion left some kernel files that disrupt the data line in ARGB headers, a common issue with proprietary software. MSI offers a dedicated uninstaller to remove it cleanly—without the tool, all RGB turned off. ASUS provides a similar solution for their Armoury Crate Dunno for Gigabyte, which is 12v analog. ARGB uses digital format, while RGB is analog.
