I understand CCleaner identifies and resolves registry problems. It also removes program caches and handles various other tasks. I rely on it often.
Some of these products include malware and other harmful elements. Only CCleaner was evaluated by security professionals, and gamers confirmed it’s not overly aggressive compared to others, making it safe for use. Additionally, Malwarebytes demonstrated that a registry cleaner isn’t advised under any circumstances. CCleaner seems to be ineffective and potentially harmful. My single use caused more issues and introduced malware. If your system has registry problems, the best fix is a full reinstall or clean install of the operating system. Unless you're comfortable editing the registry yourself—which I don’t advise for newcomers—consider using the built-in registry scanner to detect and resolve errors.
