I've witnessed G.Skill RAM failures before. In fact, they're the sole manufacturer whose RAM has broken for me. That's partly because I've relied on them most often (I don't actively look elsewhere, except for premium overclocking kits), and it turns out those kits often provide the best value. Still, it doesn't mean they're completely immune to issues.
They're 100% certain for me. I'd bet again anytime. Ignore the slim chance of a 40-90 failure. Ram failures shouldn't be taken for granted—they're among the most reliable components, if not the safest. Remember, many buyers purchase used 3090s and similar parts without any warranty. Lack of a warranty is something many already consider when building PCs.
