You can tweak many options in CS GO to improve your FPS with minimal effect on gameplay, like disabling FXAA. Check YouTube for videos that compare these settings and their impacts.

What's the spec? My setup has a C2Q at 3GHz and an HD7870 running stock, but I'm seeing spikes at 180fps while my screen shows 1600x900—not even 1080p.
