CPU: Ryzen 9 7900x
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 Chromax Black
Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite AX V2
GPU: MSI RTX 4060 Ti 16gb Gaming X
RAM: Kingston Fury Beast Black 2x32GB DDR5 6000mhz CL36
PC Case: Be Quiet! Pure Base 500DX
PSU: Corsair RM850x 850W 80 Plus Gold Fully Modular
HDD: Seagate Firecuda 4TB 7200
Check out R7 7800x3d
If you have a game or need more than 32 GB, consider it.
GPU options include AMD as well; the RX7800 is worth looking into.
HDD performance can be improved with a quality NVMe SSD for Windows and games.
PSU choice is solid, I own one myself.
Cooler: Some recent YouTube reviews suggest air coolers might help.
Case reports are generally positive about Be Quiet!

I looked at these options: WD Black SN770 500GB for system drives, Windows programs, etc., and WD Black SN770 2TB for gaming and downloads. The speeds are 5000 MB/s and 4000 MB/s for the 500GB, and 5150 MB/s and 4850 MB/s for the 2TB. I wondered if they’d work together or if the speed difference would cause lag and stutter in games.

They should function well together.
In a raid setup, they might not perform as expected. The C drive and D drive are unaffected.

No RAID setup, using 500GB for C and 2TB for D; I was mainly worried about the minor speed variation despite them being identical.

There are no problems with varying transfer speeds. The main difference comes when copying files between devices, as the speed depends only on the receiving drive. Most SSDs perform similarly, offering nearly identical performance and quick random access, which is ideal for gaming.
