Hey everyone! I really enjoyed the Beta, especially with a 980 Ti and 4790K. Turning everything up to its highest settings at 1080P made it look great. I saw some discussions saying Ubisoft had changed the game, but the PC Beta showed me otherwise. The graphics were impressive with lots of detail, though I found it a bit disappointing that most of what you see is just shiny surfaces—no interactivity. It gets tedious after minutes, especially with bikes everywhere. What do you think? I’ve added a poll so we can see your opinions! Just don’t vote on the pole unless you’ve actually played the PC beta at full power.
Consider upgrading to a modern display for better performance and clarity.
I also handle some Lightrooming and video editing, so I might just get another 1080P at 60Hz with better color accuracy and contrast. Still, I haven’t checked the pricing yet, so maybe I can get a higher resolution monitor instead.
I work in lightroom and premiere, 1440p or higher works well because it gives a spacious project window and more room for tools in any way. The division is hard to judge, but it seems pretty close to what's advertised. Ubisoft often highlights games to appear better than they actually are, and we don’t know how close the beta is to the final release, possibly based on an older version.
Downgraded significantly. RTGI removed, particle effects reduced, environment details trimmed. Current PC specs for the 2013 demo would perform much worse now. Studios should set up reveals consistently and include disclaimers about performance impact. It took five years to fully enjoy Crysis, but I stayed patient. Even with limited settings, capable systems should handle it. It still looks decent despite missing early excitement. I'm eager for feedback, though I'm concerned about content quality and long-term stability. The game has strong potential but faces intense scrutiny soon—we'll see how it stands up.
I took a shot at a car and nothing occurred. At least I managed to close the doors—it's entertaining. But the overall appearance is quite appealing, particularly the weather effects. Indoor settings seem stunning. However, I find the map layout strange now.
It's really impressive how 1440p looks this crisp, especially with its double the pixels, making it so clear and sharp.
