I posted about the issue around two to three weeks ago regarding why AutoDesk is divided into about ten programs and how long uninstalling would take. Now, after hours of trying, clicking uninstall five programs is proving difficult. The list includes Autodesk ReCap 360, License Service (X64), 3.1, Inventor Professional 2017, Electrical Catalog Browser, DWG TrueView 2017, and more. I’m planning to replace some with another software. If you have suggestions on removing them, let me know. Also, this isn’t on my main drive—I use a Kingston v300 120GB SSD.

Applied this method to uninstall Sage 200 from a work computer. If it fails, the only option left is modifying registry entries—though that comes with significant risk and isn't advised. We've also used this approach to delete Sage completely.

Currently, no antivirus is active, but safety depends on other factors.

I previously worked in IT for a firm that needed to install, uninstall, and update Autodesk and Catia. These tools were a major hassle to maintain. Eventually, I developed a set of standard procedures that generally worked, though I haven't applied them in over a year. I still recall certain steps: removing programs in a particular sequence, deleting specific Autodesk registry folders, clearing Autodesk locations such as app data or temporary files, and restarting the computer multiple times during the process.

Start in safe mode and manually remove the installation directory. If uninstalling fails, try deleting as much of it as you can to at least erase the software. Restart and go through the process again. This method isn't the most elegant but should work.
