I’ve checked the forums and consulted various resources to attempt a solution for my problem. Over the past few days, I’ve noticed significant drops in FPS within games such as Overwatch and Minecraft, with shaders consistently under 40 fps. In Hitman 2, I experienced frequent freezing episodes lasting seconds before resuming. Here are my system details:

CPU: Ryzen 5600X @ Stock
RAM: G Skill Ripjaws V @ 3600MHz 16CL
GPU: EVGA GTX 1080 FTW2
MOBO: ASUS X570-P
PSU: Corsair CX600M
SSD: XPG GAMMIX S11 Pro 1TB

After installing the latest NVidia drivers via DDU, the issue continues. I removed non-essential software like Razer Synapse and updated iCUE, but it still persists. RAM timings were correctly configured in BIOS. GPU usage and power consumption appear low according to HWMonitor, and temperatures remain stable. No overclocking is active except for RAM. I’m frustrated trying to resolve this. I’ve run a virus scan with no results and attempted to clear background processes without success. CPU and GPU stats don’t show abnormal spikes, so background tasks seem unrelated. I’m at a loss—please help.

USERBENCHMARK RUN:
https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/39447400
EDIT: Overwatch operates at full render with low-medium settings, capping at 400 FPS. Initially it hit the maximum 400 locked. Minecraft performed well at 800+ with vanilla on medium settings now around 200. I didn’t record Hitman’s FPS, but the freezing was bothersome.

EDIT2: Included my 3D Settings from NVIDIA Control Panel (Game Mode disabled, overlay turned off).

PSU: Corsair CX600M
This is your initial issue—swap the model for a more dependable option, such as a Seasonic, or at the very least opt for a CX grey label unit from Corsair. You’ll end up with a better product overall.

I didn't find a section listing bios updates there.

I refreshed the bios during the build process, though it seems to have happened around Christmas.

I've been using it for about six years now, so it seems it might be time for an upgrade. Although it isn't the most stable option, it hasn't caused any problems during that time. I remember when I was heavily overclocking my RX 480 and Ryzen 1600, it performed well.
