Solving issues with a drunk mouse on Windows 11
Just completed a fresh installation of Windows 10.
Issue continues.
Possible cause could be the BIOS update from January.
Will review BIOS settings next.
All data was wiped and both drives were reorganized.
Last evening I changed a few BIOS versions and returned to the previous one.
With each update, the issue became smaller and smaller.
Currently, it seems almost insignificant.
As I won’t be home this weekend, I’ll share an update on Tuesday night.
I don’t understand why changing versions helped, but it didn’t fully resolve the problem or perhaps I got used to the old way before the first BIOS change.
Whatever the reason, I’ll send the update.
If the delay persists, recall the instruments. Determine the source of the delay ("bottleneck") and the process responsible for the delay.
Sorry for the delay. There was a family emergency, but everything is okay now. The lag still exists but it's improved. I'm trying the tools this morning and planning to sleep!
I've tried all three tools. Nothing unusual seems happening...
My main concern is that the new GPU might not be compatible with the motherboard. I've gotten used to it.
Also, things have gotten much worse lately. I'm planning to switch to Linux and don't expect any changes.
I just saw that. My HDD started working and my mouse stopped lagging......
I’m finished with this. Probably won’t play any games soon...
It is very likely that during the pause some update or specific fix took place and resolved the issue.
Utilize the game's "lull" mode to record the current system settings, clear logs, and perform backups.
Once the lull ends, things should be back on track.
If not, review the configuration settings to identify any changes.
I will mark this thread as solved.
