At 1280*960 resolution I still achieve 140-145fps, but sometimes it drops to 99-100... not sure what's behind it, anyone can help
Upgrading the rams to dual channel can improve performance, but switching to a higher frequency kit won't help much. The PSU is another matter—it's not worth mentioning its build quality or design. You didn't specify the OS version either, and I didn't hear about the BIOS for your motherboard.
Your specifications are missing.
SSD/HDD: Power Supply Unit: Operating System: version (not edition) if using Windows 10.
What is the BIOS version of your motherboard? How old is the PSU currently installed? When you notice the screen resolution decreasing, is it because of the number of players displayed or details? Are there ways to monitor temperatures during frame drops while also tracking system resource usage before, during, and after those drops?

improve your memory, that's the issue. add another 8gb making it 16gb, or if you can afford it, purchase a dual-channel 16gb (8gb x 2)
ram isn't the issue, my specs are better than his (8gb ddr4 ram), yet i still achieve over 150 fps at 1080p medium. his setup should handle 200+ in 1080p medium or higher without trouble.
