If you opt for an i5-7400 or better, it'll pair seamlessly with a 1060. However, if you’re going for something more powerful like an i7, you’ll need a beefier graphics card too.

Well based on those percentages you need a better CPU. Are you trying to use the same motherboard or move up to a 6-8 core CPU?

If you're looking for an i5 7400 or better, pairing it with a 1060 will work great. However, if you’re going for a more powerful GPU—like an i7—you’ll need something higher-end than that.

Yes, absolutely. The Asus B150-Plus is a well-regarded motherboard, and many users report that it works perfectly fine with various operating systems including Windows 10 and 11.

The only upgrade I would recommend would be a 7700 level CPU and even that will be bottlenecked soon. 4 core CPUs are getting phased out quick and 4 core 8 thread are close behind. I wouldn’t recommend spending $300+ required to get an I7 when you can buy a ryzen 3600 and a new motherboard for the same price and get 6 cores and 12 threads. A 7400 wouldn’t make any sense to me as you’re barely getting any improvement.
