Hi, I'm new to the forum and have a really odd issue with my PC after upgrading RAM. I'm trying to install Windows from a USB stick but it crashes with BSOD every time I boot from it. I've tried various fixes like editing the MBR/UEFI settings or using MediaCreationTool2004, but the problem persists. I already have ISO images for Windows and want to install the LTSC version instead of the official one. Is there a way to resolve this? Also, my system works fine on another PC with an FX 8350 and 20GB RAM.

The LTSC you're referring to is quite recent, designed to work with the latest Ryzen 3 series processors.

the sole reason i use ltsc/b now is because they don’t pack unnecessary software. I really dislike bloatware—no Windows Store, no Cortana, just a clean install of Windows 10 like the one used by someone who played Minecraft for seven years.

I'm coming from the Win XP era, so I won't be deterred by a little search. I'm downloading Windows 10 Pro 2004 right now and hoping it works.

I'm preparing the bootable USB from the ISO by using different methods—some cause problems—and the official MS tool seems reliable. For cleaning up bloatware and installing drivers on a W10 ISO, I suggest the "NTLite" program. It simplifies the process.
