I just completed a new build and began playing on it. I observed something would open up, causing the game to minimize. Since I made my games windowed versions, it’s less noticeable. It remains bothersome to have to adjust. I’ve watched several videos and threads about this, but I’m open to trying more if anyone has suggestions.
It doesn't seem problematic at all. A Windows reinstall might fix the issue for you. Alternatively, familiarize yourself with Macrium Reflect Free and create a backup of your system before proceeding. With that backup, you can restore the exact same setup using a flash drive in just 5 minutes, eliminating the need to reinstall Windows from scratch.
You don't see that overlay, but it still appears when I disable the ones I do have.
I've tried all those adjustments too—changed the system settings, tweaked various configurations, switched game modes, removed Steam, muted notifications, modified startup apps—but nothing resolved the issue.
Also you won't believe this, but I recalled my friend's problem from years past, and just inquired again, and he confirmed it. He had faulty RAM back then, which made his games disappear from the taskbar. His task manager would display the game, but they weren't visible.
