Solid State Drive Boot Unit
I completed assembling my computer and installed Windows on the SSD while the hard drive was still connected. Now, Windows recognizes the hard drive but doesn’t assign a drive letter. You might need to reset the drive or wipe the SSD before reinstalling Windows. Follow the official installation steps for your specific version to ensure a smooth setup.
Open Disk Management via the Start Menu or Start Screen. From there, allocate a drive letter for your hard drive.
I assume there was no data on the hard drive, since you seem to have successfully deleted the partition. You might try specialized tools for recovery without reformatting.
This appears to be a fresh unformatted storage device. @ Amazingasian, in Disk Management, right-click the hard drive and choose Create a Simple volume. It should be straightforward once you follow the guide.
