Hello everyone, as mentioned in the title I'm planning to begin streaming soon and was considering a single PC setup. With the 3950x release, is the CPU still capable? If yes, I plan to sell my 9700K and combine it with my RTX 2070 and 32GB RAM. Thanks!

There are many reviews available on YouTube about it. If you're curious, you might want to look them over. It seems unnecessary for a gaming or streaming PC; a 3700X would likely perform equally well and cost less. You'd also need to swap the motherboard. If you're using an i7 9700K, it's best to stick with that. What are your streaming configurations? Have you experimented with NVENC encoding instead of software-based streaming?
For maximum gaming and streaming performance, consider the 3900x. If you need even more power, a 3700x would suffice.
It varies based on the games and their resolution settings. At 1080p with titles like Rocket League or Overwatch, the RTX 2070 should perform well and won’t be a bottleneck. I’m in agreement—upgrading from 9700K to 3700X doesn’t add much value, especially with NVENC encoding for gaming and streaming.
Hello, thank you. I currently have a 9700k CPU, 32GB RAM, an RTX 2070 GPU, a Corsair 600W PSU Gold, an 80W SSD, a 1TB NVMe SSD, and a 2TB HDD. I’m using a Dark Rock CPU cooler and plan to run the 3950 on one PC for gaming and streaming. My budget is around £1000. I’m considering getting a 3950 with TUF 570 WiFi and also using the mobile for power. Is my PSU sufficient for this setup?
