I saw Skype working, so I looked at the 'Apps & Features' area and found both Skype and OneNote were installed yesterday. Neither of them was added before. Even worse, Windows signed me in automatically using my Microsoft account. That’s strange—other users on the same PC didn’t get that access. It feels like a security mistake, especially since others use the same machine. Was this typical or did something go wrong?

- I'm ready for quick notes
- System comes with Windows 10 by default
- Previous setup likely involved Microsoft account conversion
- Not the first person to encounter this issue
- Let me know if you need further details

I verified the installation date in 'apps and features' and found it to be yesterday. It appears the latest program was installed just before, possibly the first time, or if it came bundled with Windows, it was reinstalled.

The date shown in the Apps and Feature panel reflects the last update time. Removing it at the same moment as downloading the app update will reinstall it. It’s best to ensure everything is fully updated before proceeding. Uninstall the app (or avoid connecting online initially) and then restart—once online, it will check for updates automatically.

I'm not sure about this. On my end, both my desktop and laptop have apps gone missing, and I refresh regularly each week since new Insider Fast Ring Builds come out and they don't reappear. I recall a problem with Windows 10 long ago, but it should be fixed now (maybe a Creator update? I don't remember). I'd look for app updates through the Store app, if nothing shows up I uninstall and monitor. If it happens again, I'll share a detailed post in the Feedback Hub or post right away if you're sure it was removed and you got it back.
