When downloading the newest BIOS for your Asus X570 Prime Pro, the file includes an executable called "BIOSRenamer." Previously, I updated my BIOS without using this file. The reason for its presence isn’t clear, but it seems to be specific to Asus motherboards.

The executable is available when you require USB Flashback functionality. It should only be used if your UEFI firmware becomes damaged and you must re-flash it, even if the system fails to boot. A dedicated USB port on your motherboard is needed for this, and the file must be named specifically for flashing—BIOSRenamer.exe handles renaming the UEFI firmware file to the correct format so USB Flashback can operate. If you're simply updating your UEFI firmware normally, renaming the file or running BIOSRenamer.exe isn't necessary.
