Hi, today I powered up my PC for gaming and basic tasks. After a couple of hours I left it running and then went away. When I returned, the system was slow—like between a blue screen and a frozen state. It can close programs but won’t start them, and I can’t turn it off. This happens about once every 2 to 3 months, which isn’t too bad. I used the reset button on the case regularly. After each hard reset, Windows restarts the full RAID setup, and I noticed the second one is showing as foreign. The first one still works fine for reading and writing. Any advice on what to do now? I really don’t want to lose any data.

It seems a RAID 1 drive has stopped working. Swap it out with a fresh HDD to restore the setup.

I believe I resolved the issue by importing the disk, then deleting it and setting it to mirror of the original. That should be working now.
