He faced a problem with his monitor. I suggested removing the AMD Radeon program. After that, we attempt to reinstall it, but it doesn’t show up when the computer restarts.

Radeon updates don’t remove themselves smoothly on any machine I own. Have you checked if DDU has detected the video driver and attempted to delete it there? Be sure your computer is disconnected and the latest driver is already saved before Windows starts downloading new ones.

I experienced two separate issues with AMD driver installs: one involving a custom OEM bulldozer crossfire APU driver, and another where a note in the latest driver update indicated the problem was resolved, requiring temporary driver updates.

We attempted but he left the Ethernet connected, so we tried again to check functionality—it failed. I’ll try it tomorrow by disconnecting the Ethernet.

We're exploring an approach I thought about before it was widely known. The AMD folder contains a cleaning executable, which might help resolve the issue.
