I understand you're looking for ways to evaluate your new PC's performance compared to your old one. Since you're not very familiar with benchmarking tools, here are some recommendations:

- **Cinebench R15** – a popular choice for CPU and GPU testing.
- **3DMark** – great for overall system performance.
- **AIDA64 Performance Test** – useful for detailed hardware analysis.
- **Windows Performance Monitor** – built-in tool to check CPU, memory, and disk usage.
- **HWInfo** – provides detailed specs and benchmark results.

These programs will help you compare your new PC's speed and efficiency against your old one in different scenarios. Let me know if you need help setting them up!

Unigine Valley and Heaven are frequently referenced, allowing for comparisons with other platforms. PassMark is also popular in this context.

They don’t really provide a clear rating, but thanks for the reminder. I’ll definitely cover temperatures and OC tests. I’m keeping all those thoughts in mind right now—thanks again!

The only 3Dmark and Catzilla sites, Unigine, Cinebench, and games that include built-in benchmarks like Tomb Raider... It would be interesting to observe a single GPU performance test comparing an older PC with the GTX 970 across both systems. These are gaming tests.

yeah that would be more fair, But as I said. I was dealing with a GTX 550 ti for 3 years now and I think I shoud compare the 2x 970 vs a single 550 ti. So ppl know what I had to deal with 3 years straight and what kind of boost I get. I wont share a GPU to my old system, The purpose of this Old vs new is that I let ppl know what kind of boost I got in different areas... I myself cannot still imagine what boost I will get because I basicly never ever played on a high end PC. PCs like this is still new for meBig Grin
