Looking for a reliable terminal emulator suitable for your homelab setup? I’ve found Avocent ESP-16mi works well with Windows Telnet and Tera Term, even though it behaves differently from other tools. It supports saving named sessions, which should help you avoid typing the port number repeatedly in Tera Term. If you need tips on getting Putty to integrate smoothly, let me know!

Did you review every configuration in Putty? It appears it can set the terminal it's simulating.

I verified the settings I grasp. I’m sure I can switch the terminal I’m using in mobaxterm, though it’s only moderately dependable. In contrast, putty doesn’t support that change.
