Upgraded my setup to an MSI MAG B550m Mortar Wifi from a previous Gigabyte Z97 board that had Killer Ethernet. At first, the control center was quite poor, but after a year or so I’ve been using newer versions successfully. I need it for streaming when I use download clients without built-in bandwidth managers like Epic or Xbox App. The free tool MSI offers in Dragon Center isn’t working, so I’m looking for alternatives. Thanks for any suggestions!

If your router can handle it, shouldn't you take advantage of QoS or any other traffic control options it offers?

You're asking about performance on the same machine, not across devices. It seems Windows 10 should manage network traffic efficiently. If the issue persists, it might be related to the German Telekom router itself.

Checked the firmware recently—it includes several security and privacy tools such as automatic IP rotation and botnet defense, along with standard port forwarding. It doesn’t appear to handle traffic management at all.

The router model is not specified in the provided details. Traffic management features are intended for network-wide use across all connected devices.

It's a Telekom Router model from Speedport Smart 3, but it lacks that particular function. I flipped the firmware upside down already. Right now, only my PC and smartphone are connected. I just need a traffic manager to ensure smooth streaming for Twitch or similar services while downloading games on the PC via Xbox App, without any bandwidth restrictions. Everything should run on the same machine.

There are limited free options, but you might consider using NetWorkx to check its capabilities.
