He managed to remove his audio drivers somehow. I obtained a driver tool from the official ASUS website, but it requests a registration key which I don’t possess. My uncle has no CD and his computer is 10 or 14 years old. Here are my two questions: 1) Are there any free driver downloads for Windows XP that include cracks? 2) Will installing Windows 7 cause any issues? I also have Driver Reviver, but it’s only compatible with Windows 7. P.S. Please don’t keep saying “tell him to recycle it” – I’ve already tried that several times and he refuses to do it.

Check the device manager, locate the hardware ID listed there. This information helps identify the maker and model, making it easier to search for compatible drivers. EDIT: For reference, I included a screenshot showing the same details in XP.
