Consider your needs carefully before deciding between Filmora and Sony Vegas Pro. Since you're not a beginner, focus on features that match your editing goals. Let me know if you'd like more details! P.S. Feel free to share your thoughts.

I have limited experience with video editing tools. I tried Lightworks briefly, but it was too advanced for me. Adobe Premiere is considered one of the strongest options available, though it comes at a high cost for anyone not profiting from it.

I previously worked with Sony Vegas Pro. However, I can access Adobe Premiere at a low cost—just £15.50 as a student. It offers more advanced tools. For now, I’ll stick with Sony Vegas Pro and later move to Adobe Premiere.

I work with Blender Software: www.blender.org since it's reliable and open-source! It's widely recognized as "The free 3D animation tool" but also offers game development and editing capabilities!

I use Magix Movie Edit Pro 2015, discovered it on Steam and it has met my expectations so far.

Vegas is straightforward for newcomers, yet Adobe Premiere Pro offers deeper capabilities. It also works with Maxwell via Sony. Unless you plan to maximize Vegas’s features, Sony Movie Studio could be a better choice.
