You might also explore Camtasia Studio's Editor. It lacks the extensive features of Vegas but delivers solid performance. Based on my use, render times were slightly longer, though my setup handled it well. The Preview Screen can slow down when there’s a lot of content, but that seems more like a PC issue than the software itself.
