Hey everyone, I'm looking for a reliable free screen-recording tool that works well with Windows 8. It should capture my screen smoothly at around 60 FPS, let me switch between apps during recording, and avoid choppy output. I've already tried several options like ezvid, Fraps, CamStudio, and Screen Recorder, but none met my expectations. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Shadowplay can capture the desktop too. Simply navigate to settings and check the box.

Tried Shadowplay recently and it functions perfectly! Wow, I didn’t realize it could capture the Desktop before. Appreciate the assistance!
