You can use simple free tools to back up your GPU drivers without reinstalling Windows. There are options like Rufus or WinRAR that let you copy files from your laptop to an external drive. This way, you keep your drivers intact while backing them up safely.

The issue lies with the drivers, not Windows 7 itself. Reinstalling Windows 7 while using those drivers will continue to trigger blue screens. Are you aiming for a different solution?

I understand. I’m just looking for a fresh Windows 7 setup to test various drivers. I’m using a laptop, which means I’ll have to download and reinstall many drivers.

Driver files are mixed in with all the windows installation files. The only way you can keep the drivers is by not removing windows, which is not what you are trying to do... Basically, there is no tool/way to separate program files from the OS files

The laptop supports different graphics options, but I couldn't locate the latest drivers. I've installed the ones from leshcatlab, but they're causing problems. Would it be better to use the utility or start fresh?

I noticed a lot of attention on this post, seems like HP didn’t handle the situation well... it was labeled as a solution.

They really don’t support this product well, especially since updates can’t be made manually from AMD’s site. I’ve used the solution before—it worked once, but now I’m thinking about either using Display Driver Uninstaller or starting with a fresh Windows 7 install.

The driver uninstaller tool usually works well for graphics drivers. I’d consider giving it a shot before completely wiping Windows. A fresh installation of the operating system is always a good idea.

You're welcome! I'll give it a shot with other drivers too. Also, I discovered a driver backup software driver named Max.
