Software-based mouse double clicks required
From the start it looks straightforward—the mouse double-clicks on the left side. The left mouse repeatedly performs double clicks, around one in ten times. This has caused difficulties when shifting tabs across my monitors and when interacting with important elements in games or applications where double clicks matter. I adjusted the mouse speed settings, got a new mouse, tried another model, but the issue persisted. It seems the problem isn’t hardware-related and likely a basic configuration fix. I also removed drivers and updated everything multiple times. Yet, flipping the controls to right-click instead of left resolves the issue. Do you know if there’s a workaround for these settings? Mouse details: Current model razer basilisk x wireless (1 week old); last used a Logitech mouse for gaming. Conditions: I’m using a keyboard, mouse, headset, and webcam, charging devices via monitor. System: Ryzen 5700x, RX 3080, GTX 3060, B550 motherboard, 850W power, 32GB RAM.
It would help to identify which mice are performing this action, especially after recent changes like the Kailh GM 8.0 model.
