I access the game in WoW and it freezes with brief flashes of black and white on my screen. The error displayed matches what’s shown in the image. I attempted to run Windows Memory Diagnostics, which reported no issues. It seems I might be misjudging the RAM capacity—possibly underestimating the 16 gigabytes needed. This is unusual; it hasn’t happened before this week. Appreciate any help. EDIT: On average, I have 3–4 apps running and about 15 tabs open in Firefox, plus a single instance of WoW. Minimal graphical activity. Overall “Good.” NZXT indicates my usage stays under 76% of RAM when playing WoW. DOUBLE EDIT: I recently considered running WoW without background programs and it didn’t crash. That might have answered my question. I’ll update if anything else arises. Using Windows 10 64-bit, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (4GB), Crucial Ballistix 3600 MHz DDR4 RAM, 2 x 8GB, Ryzen 5 3600X, BIOS version A.50. I believe my PSU is capped at around 76% usage while playing WoW.

16GB of RAM should suffice for that task. If not, it shouldn't crash but may slow down because of page file usage. Unless you ignored some bad advice and turned it off—which could lead to problems—you should run more thorough tests with memtest86. Alternatively, try swapping out a stick and see if the issue persists, or test another slot if needed.

I turned off my internet windows and started playing WoW plus Spotify. The issue hasn't appeared yet, but I plan to continue testing for some time. I'll run memtest86 to check further.

The issue might stem from poor memory retention, and with reduced usage it’s only slowing performance. You could be okay for a while but then experience another crash. Memtest is the best method to confirm this. The drawback is it can be time-consuming—multiple runs may require a full day or two, leaving your computer idle during that period.

I thought I had tried it a few times before, but there was an issue with how my bios were configured. I’m not very familiar with bios settings. XD Still, thank you for your assistance.
