Hi, havent spoke in a while. I have since cleaned the cpu and this is what it looks like underneath. Doesn't look great. One of the pads looks burnt. No idea what that means for the rest of the cpu or that individual VCC pad.

Socket Pin left a mark on an i9 9900KF. Should I try it on a new motherboard? Is there any risk? I'm not sure. No one seems to have reported the same problem I'm having. I cleaned the processor socket and found a cloth stuck inside. I tested a new CPU in that socket to check compatibility. It didn't work properly. The CPU showed signs of damage on the back. I ordered a new motherboard and am currently using my old CPU. In the photos below, I marked the damaged pin and believe the harm was on a VCC pad. Some say don't attempt this, while others think it's okay but the rest will need higher voltage. The cyan-colored part is marked as an error—it should be an L shape, not a T. The image quality isn't clear enough to confirm. I cleaned the CPU with 99% isopropyl alcohol now. What does this mean for the CPU itself? I've attached the images with details and the cleaned CPU photos.

The CPU has faulty VCC pads, with the gold pad partially missing. Because it's a VCC connection, it may still receive sufficient power from adjacent pads. Alternatively, the problem could exist, and you might need to rewire those VCC pins to link them with other components.
