one of the newer corsair aios i don't believe it's due to seating or pressure mount problems. I've re-seated and repasted it several times in the past few days.

I'm not sure why this was a problem until I started testing a few weeks after building probably Jan of this year. I enabled 4 cores on boot through msconfig to speed things up, but it caused my memory to load extremely slowly. After turning that off, SMT no longer recognized the change in Windows.

I want to mention in the bios that there is no enable for the smt, but it's just disabled and auto I think.

I haven't rolled back the Bios to a previous release, but the "reset all options to default" action in Task Manager/cpu-z/ryzen master/amd adrenaline/cinebench now displays 8 cores and 8 threads.
