SMC Fan Control supports Bootcamp Windows.
Hey there! For Windows bootcamp, you might want to look into similar tools like SMC FanControl or other fan management software that works well with Mac fans. Others may recommend alternatives such as Cooler Master Software or specific BIOS settings tweaks. Let me know if you'd like more details!
Speedfan generally works only with desktop hardware. A program I use for laptops is HWiNFO. It's a really good tool, if it's compatible it's a great experience. Try it, it just may work. I've never tried fan control for a mac on bootcamp. I discovered that program after a professor stopped her lecture to say she was going to shoot my laptop for being so loud. (Thin laptop fans are loud. This one took it to a whole new unnecessary level for the heat it made. )
Click the "Sensors" option, tap the fan icon under "Reset values," then adjust fan speeds manually or switch to "custom auto" for a preset. Be aware it doesn’t always capture the highest speed you set—like 4000 RPM—but allows up to 7000 RPM, so they’ll reach 100% at half that. Remember this range and check your fan’s actual speed at full settings when creating a profile. Move it fully and record the real RPM in the sensor status area.
