Hi everyone, I’ve been experiencing some network issues with our old Lacie NAS on the LAN. We’re seeing frequent Network Busy alerts and it’s taking time to restore connections, especially since a local device is already using the system. At first I assumed it might be the storage drive itself, but the RAID 5 is still functioning properly and we’re around 40% full. The broadband connection is also very slow—about 2mps upload—which adds to the problem when we use two lines to reach roughly 3.5mps. The connection to the local exchange is particularly bad. Most devices connect via a 100Mbps Ethernet port on a Netgear switch. I’m curious if this latency is impacting LAN performance. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Paul
