Smaller frame sizes in LoL at 1440p using a new laptop
Smaller frame sizes in LoL at 1440p using a new laptop
Here are some recent updates about your situation:
I recently received a new laptop, the ROG Zephyrus GA502DU-PB73.
During a League of Legends session, I experienced only 60-70 frames per second at maximum settings on 1440p resolution, and it dropped to just 20 FPS during team fights.
Compared to my previous machine with a GTX 950M, this performance is significantly better.
I’m wondering if these results are normal or if something is wrong. Are the benchmarks accurate? Is there an issue with my laptop?
I’ve tried several fixes:
- Re-formatted the computer
- Updated drivers
- Plugged in the laptop and avoided battery save mode
- Ensured the GPU was actively used for gaming instead of integrated graphics
Using GeForce Experience gave a stable 60 FPS, but my CPU was running at 87°C—feeling quite unusual for such a light game.
Any advice or clarification would be greatly appreciated.
I have a 580 and I usually get about 144, which seems unusual. Recently I bought a laptop with an 1650, and the frames look poor, maybe it's related to the 16 series?
I plug it in and then switch to turbo mode, but I noticed it restricts games to 30, which is really annoying.
I don't know, I just joked about doing it and it didn't work. Would you like me to try again at high speed? If not, just send it back.
there is no problem, reduce the settings if you wish for higher FPS.
many games settings boost load quickly, resulting in fewer FPS even with minor graphics tweaks. it’s unnecessary to keep every setting at maximum since it barely affects visuals and only slightly lowers FPS. particularly avoid AA or other irrelevant adjustments.
