For a compact setup, consider a board that fits your needs. Look for options with PCIe 4.0 support, multiple M.2 slots, and at least one SATA port. Avoid RGB lighting, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth features. A small, efficient design would work best.

Only a few ITX boards are available. Skip the asrock/msi models with 5950x Get. Consider the B550i Aorus Pro AX, Strix B550-I gaming, or an x570 equivalent. Each offers unique features, so neither is superior—B550 could be better for your needs. The main distinction is that the x570 supports two PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots, while the B550 only has one, and it also includes a PCIe 3.0 slot. Verify the USB front panel connector matches your case requirements, as options vary between models. Even within the same brand, B550 and x570 differ significantly.
