Only BF4. It's odd that the FPS isn't stable, though the instability might stem from the build. My thought is the stuttering could relate to my HDD. If the CPU were better, I'd recommend an AM3 motherboard.

Unlikely unless your system has 2 GB of RAM. The issue is probably the CPU because the game runs heavy and at 726p it’s under more strain than the GPU.

What’s going on here? I’ve maxed out the graphics settings at 2560x1080 and it barely uses more than 2GB of VRAM. RAM consumption is around just over 3GB (Siege of Shanghai/Windows 10). My first thought would be to disable all overlays, as they seem to trigger stuttering across versions. The CPU might also be the issue—this game is quite old and F4 is known for being demanding on processing power.

I'll turn off the overlays and check the results.

BF4 requires a solid CPU, and your CPU is just as important.

Attempt to activate the mantle. Current support doesn't include Dice or AMD optimizations. Still worth trying. Also confirm you're running catalyst 15.7.1.

The issue resolved itself during the post, though I noticed it was still Windows 8 updated. It seems to fix on its own except for high settings. Tested on Ultra and it works fine. Overlay is disabled.
