Evening friends, my name is Grey. I've been using this SSD for nearly two years now, and the operating system is running there. Recently, my computer has been having trouble starting up. After being turned off while I slept, it keeps showing up on the "ASUS" UEFI screen for more than a minute before finally booting. Once that happens, it usually starts normally, though over time it seems to take longer. The only changes I made recently were turning off hibernate mode to free space, moving League of Legends from the hard drive to the SSD, and transferring many movies to the hard drive instead of the SSD. I've also been moving the computer around the house and setting it up in different rooms. ...I'm not sure what else might help, do you know what's going on? -Grey

Have you verified the boot sequence? The SSD might be failing.

I'll share my setup details. I'm using a Kingston HyperX 120GB SSD and a WD Green 2TB for extra space. The CPU is AMD FX-8320, the motherboard is M5A99FX PRO R2.0, and I have 16GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM. There might be an issue—I accidentally left a movie on the disk drive and forgot to remove it. The boot order was starting from the DVD drive to the SSD. Was the system trying to launch "Pirates of the Caribbean"?

We can't assist you without understanding what the SSD is.

It's normal for storage to slow down when it fills up. How recently did you install or use this device?

The issue is that it requires a lot of time to try booting from the disk drive, and once it fails, it chooses to bypass it.

Oh no, it was a waste of your time. The SSD has been with me for nearly two years now—about a year and eight months. It’s been running at roughly 90% capacity until last week when I disabled hibernation; then the screen always showed the SSD’s progress in red.
