During each phase of setting up windows, it usually requires around 20 minutes. I don't understand why this is happening. Could be related to the hdd or laptop model—specifically an Acer Aspire E 11, which is an older device. Note: a few days ago it restarted unexpectedly and loading showed a disk error message about checking drive /E: while installing Windows with a pendrive in Legacy mode.

I'm considering this too. I believe a hard drive replacement might be necessary. Thanks for your feedback. Looking forward to more input.

Yes, it allows you to remove every previous partition displayed on the screen.

I might use a bootable tool such as WD Lifeguard or DBAN to fully erase the drive before considering it unusable, since there could be just a few faulty partitions among many.
