And it wasn't just the X6S, but also the 300$ Netgear router he mentioned purchasing. In summary, Netgear routers generally struggle with routing efficiency, even the top models. This isn't an isolated issue; most high-speed home routers that claim faster wifi speeds often fall short in real-world performance. They typically only list the theoretical interface speed without discussing actual usage or optimization capabilities.

The odd component is that once in AP mode, performance improves significantly on wired connections. I think the router forces you to use it because they charge for it each month.

Current configuration is ready: Modem, main internet line, Netgear router as AP. Thank you for your assistance—I really value it.

In AP mode it doesn't need routing anymore, which removes the main challenges. The biggest hurdle and performance risk is what remains most likely to limit speed.

That aligns with my expectations. In the future I plan to switch to a different brand and test its performance just for curiosity.
